J. Herbin Modelling Clay – Hardness 40 Flesh Pink

J. Herbin plastiline is a high-quality professional modelling clay, highly appreciated by sculptors, modellers and mould makers all over the world.

Completely non-toxic and sulphur-free, it ensures safe and precise work, with reproduction accuracy up to 1/10 of a millimetre.

Thanks to its stable formulation, the clay maintains its volume and never dries in the air, allowing it to be reused many times without alteration. It is compatible with polyurethanes and condensation-cure silicones, while inhibition with addition-cure silicones is extremely rare. It can also be used with alginates, plasters or resins without release agents.

It can be worked in three states — solid, softened or liquid (when heated in a bain-marie) — offering maximum flexibility depending on the project and level of detail required. It is recommended to increase hardness according to the size and complexity of the model.

Being mixable, different hardness levels and colours can be combined in the same sculpture for customised and precise results.
