Imitation Mongoose Synthetic Brush

The Grimas Imitation Mongoose Brushes are extremely suitable to be used as a replacement for natural bristle brushes. The brushes have a black handle, with a number indicating the width in mm.

They are available in different shapes (flat, oval, round, fan) and sizes: 

Oval: thanks to their rounded shape, oval brushes are ideal for applying makeup to large surfaces. For softness, size and shape, the IMO18 brush is ideal for applying foundation.

Round: they are suitable for drawing straight and wavy lines, for example with water-based makeup.

Fan-shaped: the IMW6 brush allows makeup artists to work with extreme precision and to locally remove excess makeup, with a bristle opening ranging from 6 to 60 mm.

Cleaning
Imitation Mongoose brushes can be cleaned with shampoo or soap and water. For extra hygienic cleaning, apply Grimas Hygienic Gel to the bristles and massage it well, so that it also ends up on the inner bristles. After cleaning, mould the wet hairs into the right shape by hand and leave the brush to dry on a towel.

Do not leave the brush upright during drying, because the water will then be absorbed into the shaft.
Do not leave the brushes standing in a bowl of water for long periods, because this is bad for the bristles.
